Second, I've gotten quite a few questions about Math Geek Mama+ this month, so I thought I would answer them all here in case you have the same question.

1. Why should I join Math Geek Mama+?
If you are a math teacher in grades 5-8 and you're tired of scouring the internet for lessons and ideas, or constantly buying individual resources on TPT, you will love Math Geek Mama+! It's your one-stop-shop for student-centered math resources.
If your students are disengaged or constantly needing additional review, just hop onto the site & find a fun practice activity.
If you're going to be out at the last minute, just grab some fun riddle pages or a self-checking digital game and email it to your sub.

2. Does it include all grade levels, or do I have to pick one?
As a Math Geek Mama+ member, you get access to ALL materials for grades 5-8! This will help you differentiate for all learners, grabbing resources to help those struggling learners get caught up, or provide an extra challenge for your advanced learners.

3. Is this a complete curriculum?
At this time, no. Although this is not laid out as a step-by-step curriculum, it is organized by topic, so you can find engaging lessons, games or independent practice to supplement your current curriculum. No curriculum is perfect, meeting the needs of all learners. My goal is to design student-centered activities that can help you cover skills or extend math learning where there might be holes or gaps in your program.
Maybe your curriculum includes lots of procedural lessons, but lacks hands-on conceptual lessons.
Or maybe your curriculum teaches in a conceptual way, but just doesn't provide enough practice for your students to feel confident.
Or maybe the lessons are great, but you don't have as many real life math tasks as you would like.

4. Are the resources printable or digital?
Both! The majority of resources on the site are printable, however there are digital activities as well, designed for google slides and google sheets. We are adding new resources each month, and that includes creating NEW digital, paperless options, as well as converting some of the printable resources to a digital, paperless format.
5. If I try it out and later decide to cancel, do I have to return the resources I downloaded?
Nope! As long as you save the files to your computer, they are yours to keep for personal use. Just note that when you cancel, you lose access to the member site immediately, and will no longer receive new resources.
6. Is everything in the Math Geek Mama shop included?
Yup! Everything that aligns to grades 5-8 math standards is available as an instant download on the Math Geek Mama+ site. In addition, all freebies also include answer keys when they're added, which is not necessarily the case if you download it free from my shop.
PLUS, there are tons of exclusive resources that are ONLY in the membership, and not available anywhere else.
7. What if I need to cancel?
No problem! I know that needs change and priorities shift in different seasons. You can cancel your membership at anytime by clicking the cancel link on the Math Geek Mama+ site. Or if you have trouble, just reach out to me by email and I can help you take care of it.
