It's hard to believe it's already March and Pi Day is coming up next week: March 14! If you always celebrate this with your students but are looking for something new and different, check out the ideas below.
And if you've *never* celebrated this fun math-y holiday, I have some ideas below that you can try that are great for all ages!
If you teach K-2, don't feel like you have to skip out on this one! Pi Day is a fantastic opportunity to take the time to celebrate math and tell them a little about a unique number that they'll learn more about as they get older.
And if you teach middle or high school, Pi Day is a fantastic opportunity to explore ratios, the number pi, properties of circles and more in hands on ways. Check out the resources below that are fun for older kids!
