Hi Manoj,
As the temperature gets warmer and the days get longer, I've got next year on my mind.
As a homeschool mom, it's about this time of year that I start looking ahead and thinking through what classes we'll cover next year, what curriculum I need to buy and what all the options are for my kids.
But before I get too far ahead of myself, getting super excited about next year and all the fun new things we'll learn, I have to actually finish this year!
And that means finishing well and ensuring I weave in enough math review that my kids don't forget all the important things we've covered this year.
If you're a classroom teacher, maybe you're in the same boat, with end-of-year or standardized tests looming.
Or maybe you've got kids with learning gaps or skills they never *really* mastered and you want to provide the tools they need to finish well before sending them off to a new grade and classroom.
But finding and prepping new materials to cover all the standards kids will see on those end-of-year tests? Ugh! Who has time to wade through Pinterest or the money to buy dozens of individual resources on TPT?
This is why I created Digital Math Games: an online library of 200+ self-checking games, aligned to all math standards in grades 3-6.
This means your kids can get targeted skills practice & review with NO PREP on your part, using simple games that are FUN!
Once students login to the ad-free website, they can play games on their grade level, or even above & below grade level, using visuals, manipulatives, sorting challenges, real-life examples and more.
But the *real magic happens* when you combine the online game with the printable recording page.
Sometimes, students can guess their way through an online game, clicking different options until they make it to the end, never really doing any math.
But if you give them the recording sheet, they have a place to show their thinking, work out computations, and even extend their learning with open-ended questions or correcting a mistake.
Although not every game has a printable page just yet, we're working hard to create that handwritten aspect so students get the benefits of interactive, self-checking games AND writing out their thinking.
